WaterBridge - Barge WaterBridge - Barge is an adaptation of the inflatable bridge concept for transfer between a support vessel and a cargo barge. The system minimises the effect of relative motion, allowing safer and simpler personnel access in a wider range of sea conditions. By increasing the operational window for safe transfers, the bridge reduces the risk of injury, programme delays and associated cost increases. WaterBridge - Barge comprises an inflated bridge with a walkway on top and attachment structures at either end. It is mounted in a 40' ISO size container, to provide environmental protection when not in use and protection during barge hot and cold work operations. Additionally the container provides storage for the equipment and a safe method of shipment. The bridge is deployed from the container on a set of guide rails and a counter weight system ensures that the bridge can be returned to the container for storage.
