Rock Dump ROV

EB designed and built a remotely operated rock dump vehicle and handling system for its client Van Oord. It was initially installed on the Rocky Giant and then rebuilt and re-installed on what is now the ‘Nordnes’.

The powerful 300kW ROV can dump up to 1500t/hr of rock on the seabed for the protection of cables and pipelines with unparalleled precision and can operate in water depths of 1200m.
