Cable Ploughs

EB’s range of power cable installation ploughs, based around the successful Sea Stallion model, has set new standards in cable burial and protection for the offshore renewables and power industries. EB ploughs feature a unique share design that has a proven ability to allow superior cable burial in a wide range of sea conditions, whilst minimising residual tension in the installed cable.

 

Customers have expressed their satisfaction with aggressive cable burial in hard seabed conditions, the speed of burial and the reliability of the Sea Stallion range due to its simple and robust design.
EB’s mostly recently delivered system is the SS433, capable of 3m burial in hard seabed conditions.

 

This plough is the latest in a series of deliveries that cemented EB as the preferred supplier of cable ploughs for the offshore wind sector.
